Teaching Characteristics

• High Education Sprout Project: In 2018 & 2019, a subsidy from Ministry of Education has gone up to NT$144.7 million (approximately US$4.8 million). All-out efforts have been made for diversified innovative teaching, connections with the industry, assistance to the underpriviledged students, and taking the university social responsibilities.
• Practice-oriented Teaching Integrating: cross-college/cross-department courses to enhance cross-field practice ability. Launching career development courses, such as career exploration, communication/presentation skills, and professional ethics to build the integrating ability of study and employment.
• Diligent Teaching and Encouraging Learning Movement: Promoting Diligent Teaching and Encouraging Learning Movement to update teachers’ teaching methods and change students’ learning attitude to result in a good working attitude in the future.
  

Certificates and Internships

• Assisting students to obtain certificates in ability index, employment qualifications and cross-field abilities to make students more competitive.
• Team Teaching from Industrial Experts: Creating workplace reality games to enable students to meet career demands and enhance working ability in the future.
• Contracting with 371 enterprises to provide off-campus internship during school years and increase the chance of employment after graduation.

Character Education

• Contracting with Sinyi Group for innovative cooperation projects to promote “character foundation & talents cultivation project” and “Malaysian students assistance project” in 5 years since August 2018, and NT$38.4 million (approximately US$1.28 million) will be implemented stage by stage.
• “Potential talents cultivation project” for outstanding young persons selection has been promoted since 2018. Students who are qualified with basic and value-added requirements can apply for the project under teachers’ recommendation and will be issued award at school anniversary celebration.
